I am now back in Melbourne,and I am happy to provide the followingfeedback regarding my tour to Vietnam wth your company.
 
I am happy with the services provided by your company during my(togetherwith my wife) 14 day (24/3/12 to 6/04/12) tour of Vietnam. Foremost,I was veryhappy your company kept its word on all it promised to do in the tour itinerary.
 
I was especially impressed with the following:
1. Your company sent us to the Hanoi Railway station right up to the traincompartment to take the train to Sapa.On returning from Sapa to Hanoi,yourcompany's representative again met us at the Hanoi Railway station (at 5 am) andtook us back to the hotel. There ,a hotel room was booked from 5 am to 8 am forus to freshen up and have breakfast before our trip to Halong Bay.
All the tour guides in the different parts of the tour performed theirtasks professionally. This is especially true for the tour guides in HCMC(Ngoc),Hai On (sorry,forgot his name),Hanoi (sorry,forget his name) and Sapa(Vung). Vung was very pleasant and communicative with us;my wife and I enjoyedthe Sapa trip very much.
 
All the hotels were good,especially Golden Rice Hotel in Hanoi,where theovernight rooms provided to us were first class (although Golden Rice hotel is aonly 3 star hotel). However the hotel in Sapa did disappoint because when wemoved into the room,there was a used towel still hanging in the bathroom.
 
I negotiated the itinerary with Ms Hai Yen,who,I have no doubt ,wasresponsible for the proper execution of the itinerary. On the last day of ourtour,the company's Director Mr. Tran Anh Diep even paid us a courtest call atGolden Rice hotel,which was very kind of him. Previous to the tour,I did notknow anything about Vietnam Tour Travel nor did I know anybody who was workingfor the company.
 
If any of my relatives or friends are going to Vietnam,I will have nohesitation in recommending Vietnam Tour Travel to them.

As I promised I write you back with my impression from the trip toVietnam.
First,I want to tell you that we enjoyed your country very very much andit was one of our best trips. We liked the people,the special atmospher as acommunist country and the feeling of something new which is beeing built. Astourists we felt that everywhere people want us to feel good:in the hotels inthe restaurants and on the street. We are thinking to come back next year tovisit the places we missed like Dalat and Na Trang and again to visit Hanoi,which we found fascinating,and Hoi An just to mention the main places. Maybe wewill add to this trip a visit to Cambodia or Laos. Are you willing to help mewith it?

As to your company we were very pleased. Everything went smouthly andeasy. I have few things of criticism. As I told you already we expected to havea better cabin in the train to SAPA and not next to the Bathroom. We expected tohave better restaurants and so touristic:you have to take into account thatpeople are coming to Vietnam also for the food. In the trip to Can Tho we feltthat many things were not nescessary and were a waste of time and money (likethe drive with a horse and a cart and things like that). But all everything wasgood.

Another thing,untill I met our lovely guide in Sapa- Hai,I thought youare a men and not a women. I am a women also. Many thanks

She allowed us flexibility,which was importantwith a small child,and with changing weather conditions. We would individually like to thank the drivers in Hanoi (Mr. Nam),Sa Pa(Mr. Herng),Hoi An (Mr. My),Ho Chi Minh City (sorry,we don't know his name),Phnom Penh (Mr. Karuna),and Siem Reap (Mr Sokha).
They were all very courteous and concerned about our welfare and safety,especially Mr Sokha who always had cold water and wet wipes ready for us when wereturned from sight-seeing in Angkor.
We are very grateful to our guides - Mr. Zey (Greet at Noi Bai Airport andHanoi Station),Mr. Dhrong (Guide in Hanoi and Ninh Binh),Mr. Ma (Guide in SaPa),Mr. Feng (Guide in Hue and Hoi An),Ms. Lucy (Guide in Ho Chi Minh City),Mrs. Sothy (Guide on Day 14/ Jan 17,in Phnom Penh),and Mr. Vibol (Guide inSiem Reap).
 
We would like to wish them all the very best and to thank them sincerelyfor their kindness,friendship and information.
They were all very knowledgeableabout local information and polite. They were happy to answer our questions andwere concerned about our comfort.
 
We enjoyed excellent and new types of food at the great restaurants,andwish to thank you for organising the many lunches and dinners we enjoyed duringour stay. May be next time,we could have a meal together in Vietnam or when youhappen to visit Canberra,Australia.
 
All the hotel rooms we stayed in were very comfortable and clean. Weespecially liked the rooms at Gerbera Hotel (Mercure) Hue,and Thanh Van 2 HotelHoi An. But the Manager at Thanh Van 2 Hotel was pushing us to buy clothes fromhis tailoring shop.
 
The staff and location of Medallion Hotel Hanoi were excellent. But thetoilet system at Medallion Hotel Hanoi was not very good.
Sa Pa View Hotel was average. But the room at Sa Pa View Hotel could havea better heating and hot water system.
The Spa at Tan Hai Long Hotel Ho Chi Minh City was very good and the hotelwas centrally located and very convenient. But the superior double room at TanHai Long Hotel was a bit too small.
We were delighted with our last room at Victoria Hotel Siem Reap and itwas a lovely way to end our holiday.
 
All the guided tours were well organised and our guides (except Mr. Daream)were flexible to any requests we had. We enjoyed the many boat rides along thebeautiful waterways of Vietnam and Cambodia as well as learnt a lot from thevillages,historic sites and markets we visited.
 
Once again,Ms. Hai Yen thank you for an excellent holiday!
We hope you would keep in touch with us and we will definitely inform youwhen we plan our next holiday. We are considering to visit Malaysia and Thailandearly next year/2013,would you have any advice for us please?

Overall my family enjoyed the trip other than the domestic flight delay.
However I would still like to provide some constructive feedback:
 
Hotel - All hotels service level are good,especially Boss hotel.
Initially one of the room is very stuffy but the staff managed to find usa fan.
Hoi An was ok but my children found the room a little eerie as all thelightings are dim.
Our favorite hotel is the Fragrances Hotel which is bright,clean andoffer spa service.
Car - We are happy with the vans in Ho Chin Minh and Hanoi. For Hue,vanis a bit old. All drivers were very good.
Food - most of the food are extremely nice,especially the spring rolls inHanoi. Some of the food is oily,example:Fish baked in a clay pot or pancake inHue. Maybe a little more variety in the type of food will be nice. We reallylove Hanoi dinner and the meal on Junk boat At Halong bay.
I would also like to comment that we really appreciate that you areprepared to accommodate us if the flight at Hoi An was delayed further.
We will definitely travel with your agency again in future.

Thank you for enquiring about us. We are all doing fine,at the moment recovering from our trip. The trip to Vietnam was wonderful with many beautiful places and people. I am glad to have been able to expose my children to your country's beauty.
All in all,the services provided by your company was good and to our expectation. I am thankful to have your contact because you really helped us a lot with regards to transport. Our first train ride in Vietnam on Fanxipan was good. I remember in 1 of your emails,you suggested taking Fanxipan as it is newer and thus more comfortable.Thank you for the suggestion. The train was rather clean and services rendered by the train staff good also. However the train to Hue wasn't as good. It was definitely older than Fanxipan and there were cockroaches in the cabin. This caused some of my family members a sleepless night. The cabin was also slightly smaller than Fanxipan.

With regards to the drivers,they were relatively good and did their job well. Mr Tran and your other staff were definitely helpful and went beyond their normal call of duties to help us.
I hope my feedback are helpful. Thank you once again for all the help that your company has rendered to us while we were in Vietnam. I will definitely recommend Vietnam,particularly Sapa and Halong,as a must go holiday destination.
